This simple, yet innovative principle allows the platform to better "understand" the traveller’s behaviour regarding the search for information and objectives. You become "guided" by other travellers and their lived experiences.

The wordplay invites all users to guide other travellers. This is possible by writing engaging content about the places they've visited, favourite restaurants and hotels, great activities or indirectly - by showing their appreciation with Flaps or ratings.
How does bmy.guide work?
It's genuinely simple - a traveller starts with a postcard, a journal entry, a story or a review, to which he assigns a title and a location.
If there is no other post from that location, a new location page is automatically created, serving as a display of all content related to it.
Every page created on bmy.guide has its own chat, its most influential ambassadors, contains all the postcards from that specific location and shows the total number of Flaps received. All other users, starting with friends, those who the user watches, are able to see all the new posts and show their empathy towards it, by giving Flaps, writing comments or sharing the posts.
The Flaps received for a post contribute to the total number of Flaps of the dedicated page to which it belongs. The total number of Flaps on page is an indicator showing the degree of satisfaction of all users with respect to that location. bmy.guide introduces 'Achievements' as a way to help users monitor their progress, evaluate their entire experience and overcome challenges on the platform. It also allows users to reflect on their performance in relation to the goals they have set for themselves.
The Achievements are offered to bmy.guide users for completing General, Monthly or Special tasks, and materializes in Guide Points (GP). To consult the status of your Achievements, go on Dashboard - Achievements

What is the Guideline on bmy.guide?
The Guideline is a travel-oriented timeline showing only travel and tourism content from all bmy.guide users. The content available on the main page is displayed according to the most recent postcards added.
bmy.guide also arranges the content based on the most recent posts that have received flaps and the Gratest Places to visit according to other travellers opinions.
Do I have to be a full-time traveller to create an account on bmy.guide?
You don't have to be a full-time traveller to own an account, share your experiences or browse on bmy.guide. Everything you need is a passion for travel.
What kind of content should I post on bmy.guide?
bmy.guide is designed to connect travellers around the world, as well as offering all the resources you require to effectively find inspiration, plan, book, journal or share your travel experiences. Therefor, all the content available on bmy.guide is strictly related to travel and tourism.
